Grand Cayman Islands - Chapter 7

Well, our journey on the Carnival Legend ended at the beautiful Grand Cayman Islands.  More crystal blue water, a little rain, and some beautiful beaches.

What better way to start our Grand Cayman excursion than a beautiful sunrise to greet us.  This is an HDR shot.

Soon, we were off the Carnival Legend onward to the journey that awaited us on the island.  How about that beautiful water?

As we walked around in town, we came upon this beautiful church.  Had to grab a quick pic.

Soon, we were on the beach.  Does someone have a Corona?

Meaghan didn't waste any time greeting the fishes. It was a peculiar situation with the rain coming down offshore.

I thought this made an interesting shot with the clouds offshore and the footprints in the sand...

I took 6-7 images and stitched them together to formulate this interesting panoramic.  Despite the threat of rain, it was still oddly beautiful.  Click to enlarge it.

Soon the inevitable occured.  I guess you could say this is proof that it even rains in paradise.  I bet you really feel sorry for me ;-)

The crab didn't seem to care about the rain.

So I'm a little obsessed with panoramic shots.  I had to capture the full scene so I could remember the full view forever.

Well, this really could have been a cool shot.  If only the stupid pickup was out of there...it would have been even better if that pirate ship was sailing.

Soon, we were back on the boat.

As we sailed away, I could still see the cool formations of the clouds on shore.

I caught this interesting shot while in another boat.

The journey came to an end like all good things do. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset.
